Local artist Murthy Mantha displays his series 'Historic Landmarks and Relics' that captures Gibson-Grant Log House architecture and Cross Timbers artifacts at the Practicing Artist Wall at the Flower Mound Public Library (3030 Broadmoor Ln.) through January.

Three local artists are featured on the Children's Art Wall at Flower Mound Public Library, where works by Steven Rodriguez, Rebecca J.

Jones, and Beth Dilley will be shown in the children's section until January's end. Visit the library at 3030 Broadmoor Ln. during regular hours to view the art.

Prairie Trail Elementary in Flower Mound led all LISD schools in donations during the annual Stuff the Pantry food drive that ended recently – donations exceeding 40,000 lbs will support local charities such as Christian Community Action and aid about 900 families weekly.
