Hillwood donated $5,000 to the Denton County Community Food Center on Dec.
17 to help local families during the holidays. The developer presented the donation at its new Landmark project site to connect with neighbors.
🏛️ Government
Double Oak’s Volunteer Fire Department received $235,000 from the Rural VFD Assistance Program to buy a small brush truck and a slip-on unit.
The funding was approved on Oct. 14 and includes an extra $25,000 to boost local fire and rescue equipment.
