About this event

Heroic - Sabin Howard Sculpts the National WWI Memorial

Imagine watching Michelangelo paint the Sistine Chapel… HEROIC is a cinematic, heart-palpitating, behind-the-scenes look into the studio of Master Sculptor Sabin Howard as he races a deadline to complete a lifetime project in just 4 years: with the world watching.

A Soldier's Journey, Sabin Howard's sculptural heart of the National WWI Memorial, was installed by the White House on September 14, 2024.

“The goal is to make sculpture that when you’re in its presence you’re transported to a higher state of being.” – Sabin Howard
