About this event
Yes, it’s a thin 25% lit crescent moon on this night, so I might as well put on a big show with the fun observing equipment I have gathered since 2016 - when I started “Dallas Area Stargazing.
You don’t have to, but if you have a telescope you want to use can bring it too whether you know how to use it or not… We can all help you.
Meet new people! Preview objects we will observe with the new iPad screen “piggybacked” on the 9 foot telescope next to the eyepiece you will be looking through with your own eyes.
The moon that will be viewing tonight along with any other stars available to discuss
Matt Cooper will unpack and assemble a telescope at ~7:00 pm before this event - so feel free to come early to the event & enjoy the fun in building it! 😅
Questions are welcome and an open discussion is encouraged.
Listed by Meetup: Dallas, TX, gathered by the Flower Mound events calendar.
