EDUCATION NEWS

  • Yesterday, the Texas House approved Senate Bill 2 that creates a $1 billion private school voucher program + a $7.7 billion public education funding measure to raise teacher salaries and improve special education.   • Flower Mound’s wastewater treatment plant was named Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Year by the Water Environment Association of Texas for its strong compliance record and proactive improvement plan— it has served the town since 1972 while handling an average of 8.7 million gallons per day with a two-hour peak of 33.3 million gallons.  City of Flower Mound
