Force Home Services is giving away three brand-new water heaters with professional installation to local families or individuals in need—nominations are accepted until August 25 and winners will be announced on August 30.

Flower Mound’s Economic Development staff has launched a new Retail and Restaurant Survey to gather residents' top 20 picks for future stores and dining options.

Residents can take the survey online until Aug. 31, and results will be available in early fall (which follow attractive projects from the last survey in 2022).

The Denton County Sheriff’s Office urged residents to follow summer safety tips by staying hydrated, reapplying sunscreen, and taking breaks from the heat—especially when near pools or lakes.

It also advised using safer alternatives to wire grill brushes and keeping a first aid kit handy to reduce injuries.
