- ➤ The Flower Mound Public Library is launching its 40th anniversary Bookmark Design Contest—residents will drop off original designs at the Information Desk at 3030 Broadmoor Ln. by 9 p.m. on Sept. 30 and the winner will be honored at an anniversary party in November. City of Flower Mound

- ➤ The Flower Mound Senior Center will host the annual Health Fair on Sept. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon — offering free health checks, flu shots, expert talks on healthy aging and caregiver resources, and nearly 70 vendors.
