- ➤ A Shake Shack burger restaurant is coming to the Shops at Highland Village as construction begins end-December and will be finished by June 2026 — the location will offer a mix of burgers, chicken items and desserts. The Cross Timbers Gazette
- ➤ Quandary Kitchen in Argyle will open in early November near the FM 407—Hwy 377 corner, replacing Kimzey’s Coffee Shop that closed in May. The restaurant will offer dine-in and to-go options with a menu of sandwiches, entrees, and seasonal market meals in a ski resort-themed space, and owner Heidi Fernandes said it will help families plan healthy meals. - ➤ The Argyle Open, a golf simulator and social lounge at Northlake Commons, is attracting guests with professional simulators offering over 200 courses and game modes like zombie dodgeball—its family-friendly space features a dedicated kids area. The lounge operates daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.—with bay rentals at $60 for one-hour slots on Monday-Thursday and $100 for two-hour slots every day. The Cross Timbers Gazette
