The Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum reopened Tuesday with a new exhibit featuring six American Presidential home replicas from the George W.
Bush Presidential Library and Museum. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Argyle reached a performance-based agreement on Wednesday where the Heritage Tract developer will fund $25 million in infrastructure at the southwest corner of I-35W and Robson Ranch Road; the town will reimburse funds when tax benchmarks are met (a planned hospital and more business details will be announced in 2026).
Double Oak will start developing its final commercially zoned plat on FM 407 and Simmons Road with a shopping center featuring a national grocer, sit-down and quick-service restaurants.
Town officials say the site is designed with local charm in mind and will boost tax revenue as planning continues.
